New Students

Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year.

Registration for all new students is available online in English and Spanish. Once the online portion of your registration is submitted, you will have the option to schedule an appointment using the Calendly link found in your confirmation email or on the submission page, or you can attend one of our in-person registration events. All events will take place at the Community Building (111 W. 1st St., Belvidere, IL) on the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 11th - 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  • Tuesday, April 16th - 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  • Tuesday, April 23rd - 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Is your child a returning D100 student?  If so, please visit our Returning Students page.

New students joining D100 will be required to have the following documents in order to complete registration:

  • Current lease or property tax statement
    • Boone county residents can get a copy of their tax bill here.
  • One utility bill (gas, electric water or trash)
  • Your student's certified, original birth certificate
  • Parent/guardian photo ID

Registration is not complete until all required documentation is received.

To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must turn five years old on or before September 1st. If the child is born after September 1st and the parent feels their child is an advanced learner, a parent can request that their child be screened for early entrance to Kindergarten.  Early Entrance to Kindergarten is appropriate only for those students who demonstrate compelling evidence that they are both intellectually and socially advanced.
